It shows up when you start comparing your journey to someone else’s, when you replay every “not enough” moment in your mind, or when you doubt whether you’re truly walking in your purpose. But here’s the truth: God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. Your confidence doesn’t come from perfection — it comes from alignment with who He says you are. 💭 The Truth About Insecurity Insecurity grows when we:
· Compare our behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel. · Internalize words that were never meant to define us. · Believe our worth depends on what we do, instead of who we are in Christ.
But Romans 12:2 (NLT) reminds us: “Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” Confidence starts in your mind, not your mirror. 🌱 3 Ways to Shift from Insecure to Anchored
1. Recognize the Lie. Catch every thought that says, “I’m not enough.” Name it — and reject it. 2. Replace the Lie with God’s Truth. Speak the Word out loud: o “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14) o “I can do all things through Christ.” (Philippians 4:13) o “I have power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) 3. Rehearse the Truth Daily. Confidence grows through repetition. Declare it:
